A graduate of the Universities of Cape Town, Sussex, South Africa, and Manchester. Has had chair positions at the University of Bath School of Management and Manchester Business School from where he retired in 2017. He then took up a 50% position at Manchester Metropolitan University, and is interested in all facets of B2B Marketing. He has published in Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research, and the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, amongst others.
