Call for Papers: Governing Business Relationships for Sustainable Futures

While sustainability has gained considerable attention in industrial marketing literature, the process of sustainable development through changing business relationships and envisioning different futures remains somewhat of a ‘black box’. Specifically, the way decisions are made and enforced in business relationships plays a key role, highlighting the importance of understanding the governance of business relationships. In this special issue, we aim to explore how different governance modes (e.g., informal norms-based, formal contractual) enable or constrain the sustainable development of business relationships.
