This Spring Uppsala University launches a multi-disciplinary research centre for Science and Technology Studies, Uppsala STS. In December 2004 an international symposium will be arranged in Uppsala which focuses on the complexities of scientific and economic development. The symposium will include a restricted number of papers on the issues Values of research and Economic effects of research. Applications should be before Sept. 1.
