This paper explores complexity measures and this association to business network performance and structures. This exploratory research considers complexity benefits to business networks focusing on interdependence. The data was generated from an existing agent based model (ABM). The ABM simulates exchanges processes within an innovation network. We generated 100 scenarios across 450 network systems. After calculating Shannon’s Entropy, multiple regression and neural networks were used to explore associations with network structure and exchange processes. Results indicate the complexity is weakly associated with network performance. This paper contributes by exploring how complexity can be measured within business networks
