There is a widespread agreement of the networking behaviours by individuals being the key drivers of industrial network dynamics. The success in networking is noted of central importance to development of international new ventures too. Still there is a limited amount of empirical research that would be examining how entrepreneurs actually act in networks and how that is related to network dynamics over time. The present study examines networking behaviour of entrepreneurs in developing the international business opportunities for their international new ventures. The study discusses theoretically the types and roles of networks that are seen as most relevant to the international new venture entrepreneurs and the ways of networking presented in previous research. Through an event-based process research covering three-year development of a high tech international new venture, the study examines in-depth the networking behaviours of the entrepreneurs. The study concludes with explicating how the goal-oriented actions of the entrepreneurs create network dynamics and are connected to changes inthe international opportunity development
